2008/09 - Dow AgroSciences Scholarship
This scholarship is designed to foster the education and practical experience of students interested in a career in agriculture, natural resources, or a related science. Students, who apply in 2007 and are awarded, will receive financial support to cover educational expenses (up to a maximum of $3,000) during the following school year. In addition, award recipients may receive the opportunity to interview for a paid summer internship in either Dow AgroSciences’ Research and Development (R&D) or Sales and Marketing division. Dow AgroSciences and MANRRS will each provide mentors to work with award recipients in order to enhance the recipient’s preparedness for a successful career.

2009 MANRRS/Monsanto Conference Scholarship
For the 2009 Conference, MANRRS and Monsanto have partnered to create and promote a scholarship fund to assist students with travel expenses to attend the National Conference in Indianapolis, IN.
This scholarship is designed to assist students with travel expenses associated with attending the 2009 national conference. Students, who apply and are awarded, will receive financial support to cover travel expenses (up to a maximum of $1,000) to attend the national conference in Indianapolis, Indiana. In addition, award recipients may receive the opportunity to interview for summer internships and career opportunities with the Monsanto Company. MANRRS will coordinate with award recipients in reserving hotel rooms and flights. Applications must be submitted electronic to the MANRRS National Office by the stated deadline.
NOTE - Special consideration will be given to students who display:
- Pursuing a degree within the field of Agriculture, finance, economics, marketing or business, agronomy, crop & soil sciences, biology, or related field
- Previous Ag experience or display passion & initiative for learning the agriculture industry

Two professional development grant opportunities are available through the
Consortium of Agricultural Organizations (Consortium). These grants ($5000) each), provided by Kraft Foods and Monsanto will help our chapters greatly, and are intended to encourage and advance professional development at the chapter level.
To apply for the grants, please complete the grant application form below and submit to MANRRS Executive Office by March 31, and October 1st of each year. This is a great opportunity for your individual chapters.
